NEW SPECIES OF BROMELIAD DISCOVERED 

Masterfoods GmbH of Germany, sponsor the cultivation and distribution of a rare bromeliad
found in  the Thuru Mayu area, of the southern Bolivian region of Anden. The plant was
discovered in a drying valley with steep rock slopes difficult to access. The plant has been named 
Deuterocohnia Seramisiana, this is an epiphytic (above ground)plant with typical spikey leaves.
Seramis have sponsored this bromeliad to encourage the use of  these plants in the home as a
way of supporting the rain forest.
